Animal Welfare Infrastructure
BAWS will build the space and staff to rescue, treat, and care for animals. It starts with a full-service shelter and animal hospital in Thailand. This section covers what’s planned and how it will expand.
How BAWS Delivers Animal Welfare:
- Full-Service Shelter & Veterinary Clinic: A modern, fully staffed facility offering emergency medical care, rehabilitation, vaccinations, and long-term treatment for stray, injured, and abandoned animals.
- Mobile Rescue Units: Vehicles and teams equipped to respond to urgent cases—running outreach, rescue operations, spay/neuter campaigns, and field treatment in underserved areas.
- Education & Community Engagement: Partnering with local schools, clinics, and leaders to promote responsible care, early intervention, and public awareness.
- Scalable, Transparent Operations: All care efforts will be documented and reported with visible outcomes—offering a new level of trust and accountability in animal welfare.
Our mission is to create lasting infrastructure that rescues, treats, and protects vulnerable animals, starting in Southeast Asia and expanding regionally as support grows. Through ecosystem coordination, community support, and on-the-ground operations, BAWS aims to reduce suffering, improve outcomes, and deliver scalable, compassionate care where it's needed most.
The BAWS Headquarters (Thailand)
The flagship BAWS shelter and HQ will be a space to build and grow operations over time:
- A veterinary hospital and long-term care shelter
- Administrative offices for the foundation and community programs
- A staging point for mobile rescues and outreach
- An IRL space for Berachain-aligned animal welfare events and community engagement
BAWS isn’t just helping animals—it’s creating public goods that show what Berachain is capable of when it coordinates for real-world impact.
